After spending one week in Pennsylvania at the Keystone Farm Show at the Lancaster Dairy Farm Automation booth and two weeks in New York for dealers Southern Tier Dairy and R&M during February’s Western New York Farm Show and New York State Farm Show, the GALAXY ASTREA 20.20 traveling robotic demonstration unit headed west in March for the Central Minnesota Farm Show in St. Cloud.

On March 26-28, the demonstration unit headed to two spots: 1) the Central Plains Dairy Expo in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, where the AMS-GALAXY-USA ASTREA 20.20 and the URBAN CALFMOM AND CALFSHUTTLE were featured at the Valley Dairy Farm Automation booth. At the same time, both technologies were featured at the LDS Inc. booth during the Wisconsin Public Service Farm Show in Oshkosh.

While in the Midwest, the AMS-Galaxy-USA traveling demo stopped in at Unverfehrt Farm Supply’s Open House at the office and warehouse in Centralia, Illinois. Over 800 people attended and the dairymen who were present showed interest in the GALAXY ASTREA 20.20’s unique two-box setup where 120 cows are milked by one industrial robotic arm. Kevin Unverfehrt is pictured talking to customers about this cost-effective, efficient, cow-focused robotic milking system.

Also pictured are Joel and Robert Gehring at a Robotic Milking meeting they hosted at Gehring Sales and Service in Rubicon for 30 Wisconsin dairy farmers.
